PAINTING IN THE GARDEN

I started this painting a couple of years ago and just hadn't finished it! So today was the day!

Finished! "Blue Bottle Garden"

I've started fixing up the other side of the yard too! I'm looking for a wooden birdfeeder ot large birdhouse for this side also!

We were so sad to hear of our dear friend, Marie's death this past week. She was a sorority member, T.O.P.S. and Church member with us until she moved a few years back. She and her husband Bill were always such good sports dressing up for all our fun HALLOWEEN parties!

Finished this little Violet Painting

For  Ashley our February Birthday Senior Graduate

I had one of our men sing "You are My Sunshine" to his lady friend at Music Time at the health care facility last week. He is a good singer! In fact they all sang well last week!

I personalized this painting for Esther my secret sister as her gift. It's called "Cletus in the Window". She had this cat for 18 years and it has been gone for 5-10 years.  I didn't remember what he looked like so I made up a story about hearing about someone who had a cat named Cletus, and said," Wasn't that your cats name? " She promptly told me all about him what kind and color and all I needed to know!  She had no idea what I was up to  and was Very Excited with the painting when she opened it!

Here is Esther,  almost 90 yrs young flying a kite at out secret sister party that day. Hope you are taking time to have fun too! My second blog is: www.mcreatesdailyblogspot.com

MY FAIRY TALE LIFE!

I just finishing reading Susan Branch's  delightful book; "The Fairy Tale Girl" This is the first in a series if 3 about her life. I Love, Love, Loved It and can't wait to read the other two!!

I've decided that I tend to have fun playing that part myself!

My latest project is making Prayer Flags or (Wishes for You Flags) for my Blue Bottle Garden.

So Far the Wishes are for Love, Health and Peace.

But the list is up to 15! Others are: Purpose, Faith, Jesus, Heaven, Family, Friends, Creativity, Hobbies, Travel, Books, Music and Laughter. What do you think?

As the wind blows the prayers and wishes go out into the universe blessing all they touch

I found this cute little stand at a new Antique Store in town. Very reasonably priced so put it in the garden to carry out the Bed & Breakfast Theme.

Son Paul and Grandson Davey gave me this beautiful Blue Hydrangea for Mother's Day. I love it here with my distressed rocking chairs.

Black Callie spends a lot of time napping on the step to the back porch. She then tries to sneak in every time I open the porch door to go out in the yard. Lots of times I put them all on the porch so I can walk and not have them all under my feet or trying to get up on my lap!

Here's one of Black Catty "Othello's favorite napping places! Husband Maurice gave me the Beautiful Blue and White Pot and Fern for Mother's Day. I Love It!

Tasha is always right out there with me too! So you can see why they are put on the porch frequently! But they like it there, so they don't feel deprived!

There was the most precious collection of small cacti at the nursery the other day.  I just had to have it for my Fairy Corner!

See what I mean about playing in the Fairy World! The little Hearts-ease (Viola) plants are so precious too!

The Fairies shared a little of their greenery with the birds too!

The family Celebrated Mother's Day a week early at Ryans for lunch.

And at son Paul's and grandson Davey's apartment afterward for a fun game of Rummikub.

They didn't have a table but we made it work anyway!  Hope you had a great Mother's Day Celebration too!  You might enjoy my other blog: www.mcreatesdaily.blogspot.com also. Blessings!

LOVELY SPRING TIME CELEBRATIONS!

2016 Archie, Mo. Beta Sigma Phi Founders Day Dinner at the Lovely Farm Home of Cricket Kroneke.

Norma Keltner on left and Cricket Kroneke; best friends prepared and served our delicious gourmet meal.
I shared the story of the historical painting "O'er the Land of the Free"by Sidney Moore before we said The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

Cricket has such a lovely home. We sure enjoyed  viewing it all before our meal.

Our faithful servers were on duty again for our Annual Woman's Tea at Church. Husband Maurice is in the middle.

The theme was The Promise-The Rainbow so each table was a color of the rainbow

Lovely Ladies!

My new Clematis plant.

Decided to do a painting of lavish clematis vines at the recent workshop.

I've been wanting a chartreuse hosta  so got one this year. I went back to get another but the line was so long I decided to go back on a day other than Saturday!

I've had fun making more curtain swags for the blue garden. Also got a bag of crystal prisms at a garage sale and have had fun hanging them from fine wire in the garden. You can see some  hanging on the lamp.

Have had several friends with Birthdays recently so have sent this greeting painted a few years back to them by  e-mail

I'm enjoying this little bright spot by the entrance to the back porch

Found these neat colorful flowers at the Garden City Thrift Store recently.

"The Go Go Girls + One" enjoying taking out a longtime friend for lunch  to celebrate her Birthday recently.

PLAYING HOUSE INSIDE AND OUT!

Precious little Scholastic book for 25cents from the thrift store!  Cute reading!

Have hung out my Curtain Swag in The Blue Bottle Garden

The back part of the garden. Will be so much prettier when I can get the ferns and flowers out.

Replaced these front porch chairs with something more sturdy so they now reside in the garden.

I don't know if Eli or the wind got to my gazing ball. But for now the frog is on the throne!

I'm adding "pinks" in my garden borders too! They will come up next year too so that makes it double the fun!

Little bright spots of color now but a big mass of color soon!

I've got more can lids saved to make more of these this year. I really like how they look in the garden

Havin Fun !

Got a bag of shells for $2.00 the other day. Black Callie was right there to check them out!

Hang bottles on corks  too!

Black Baby wanted to drink my plant water (just plain water). Much better than his on the porch!

My cute chicken or bird has a new place to sit this year! You might enjoy my other blog also: www.mcreatesdaily.blogspot.com
