MY FAIRY TALE LIFE!

I just finishing reading Susan Branch's  delightful book; "The Fairy Tale Girl" This is the first in a series if 3 about her life. I Love, Love, Loved It and can't wait to read the other two!!

I've decided that I tend to have fun playing that part myself!

My latest project is making Prayer Flags or (Wishes for You Flags) for my Blue Bottle Garden.

So Far the Wishes are for Love, Health and Peace.

But the list is up to 15! Others are: Purpose, Faith, Jesus, Heaven, Family, Friends, Creativity, Hobbies, Travel, Books, Music and Laughter. What do you think?

As the wind blows the prayers and wishes go out into the universe blessing all they touch

I found this cute little stand at a new Antique Store in town. Very reasonably priced so put it in the garden to carry out the Bed & Breakfast Theme.

Son Paul and Grandson Davey gave me this beautiful Blue Hydrangea for Mother's Day. I love it here with my distressed rocking chairs.

Black Callie spends a lot of time napping on the step to the back porch. She then tries to sneak in every time I open the porch door to go out in the yard. Lots of times I put them all on the porch so I can walk and not have them all under my feet or trying to get up on my lap!

Here's one of Black Catty "Othello's favorite napping places! Husband Maurice gave me the Beautiful Blue and White Pot and Fern for Mother's Day. I Love It!

Tasha is always right out there with me too! So you can see why they are put on the porch frequently! But they like it there, so they don't feel deprived!

There was the most precious collection of small cacti at the nursery the other day.  I just had to have it for my Fairy Corner!

See what I mean about playing in the Fairy World! The little Hearts-ease (Viola) plants are so precious too!

The Fairies shared a little of their greenery with the birds too!

The family Celebrated Mother's Day a week early at Ryans for lunch.

And at son Paul's and grandson Davey's apartment afterward for a fun game of Rummikub.

They didn't have a table but we made it work anyway!  Hope you had a great Mother's Day Celebration too!  You might enjoy my other blog: www.mcreatesdaily.blogspot.com also. Blessings!

  3. I really like the flags :)
I just finished the 2nd in the Susan Branch trilogy. Need to go back and read THIS one. (She said it didn't matter what order you read them in.....)
I added some blue bottles to our flower beds. A friend gave me some in exchange for some plants I was dividing. Now if only it would stop raining so I could get some pictures!
Your Rummikub games must have been fun. We play that every now and then. Also Dominoes and a card game we call Baptist Rook.

  4. The Prayer Flag Bunting is a Wonderful Creation and Idea! I've been thinking about putting in a Fairie Garden Nook here too, I think Princess T would Enjoy the Enchantment of it. Your entire Garden looks so Inviting, job well done my Friend! Dawn... The Bohemian
