Started making Santas as gifts for family and friends in 1985. Been doing it every since except for 1981 when we had the death of a son and a long serious hospitalization for another. |

From your Heart and Soul you've brought this Army of Santas to Life! And in the Sharing of your Story I have found strength and comfort for this Holiday Season, which has been more difficult than most for our Family. So a Big Hug and Christmas Blessings coming to you from the Arizona Desert... Thank You for your Blog Visits and Sweet Comments throughout the Year... Dawn... The Bohemian
ReplyDeleteThanks for your input on Today's Post, laying down the law and changing undesirable habits can be constant when you're dealing with individuals with Special Needs, whether Mental Health or Brain Damage, which creates some limitations on 'Normal Function' and Behavioral Issues that can test your nerves and patience. I've had a lot of experience doing it, but it is still nonetheless often exasperating. Both G-Kids are in Intensive Therapy to help them with boundaries and more Socially Acceptable behaviors, especially the development of Social Skills and having Empathy for others and having better Accountability. We do make progress, but it can be an uphill battle at times. A good Rant in the Land of Blog when I'm particularly frustrated really helps. *winks* Dawn... The Bohemian
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year. I'm looking forward to another year of seeing all your wonderful sewing. Hugs
