THRIFT STORE FINDS AND NEW SHOP GOODIES

This precious little children's hanger looks like it's from the 40's or early 50's. It was just waiting for me at our little thrift store in Garden City, Mo. yesterday! Even with the stain on her face she is sweet!

This is it's new home in our master bathroom. Sorry about the glare!

This darling little Seafoam Green and Red Geranium tablecloth and window came from our new shop in Garden City, The M  & B's Mercantile

Going to add Wooden Red Stars and flags to this little handmade candle holder I found at the thrift store yesterday too!

Thought you might enjoy seeing my newest little 8"x10" original acrylic painting I did of zinnia's from my garden in a Blue Mason jar. It is for sale at $40.00 plus postage.

FANTASTIC BROOKSIDE ORGANIC FARMERS MARKET IN K.C., MO.

I COULDN'T GET OVER THE ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL DISPLAYS!  I WOULD HAVE BOUGHT BAGS FULL IF I COULD HAVE AFFORDED IT!

I TALKED TO THIS GROWER SHE SAID THEY GROW ABOUT 80 DIFFERENT VARIETIES OF TOMATOES!  WOW!  BUT I PICKED OUT ONE BEAUTIFUL BIG YELLOW TOMATO (SHE CALLED GEORGE) AND THEN WHEN SHE SAID THE  PRICE,  I HAD TO PUT GEORGE BACK! IT WAS ABOUT $4.00!

THESE LITTLE VASES OF FLOWERS REALLY CAUGHT MY EYE!

EVEN HAD MUSIC AT 9:00 A.M.

MY SISTER AND I WENT TO "TUESDAY MORNING' AFTER A YUMMY BREAKFAST AT "FIRST WATCH" AND I GOT A REALLY GOOD BUY ON THIS SOLAR BIRD (WHICH I THOUGHT NEEDED WHITE POLKA DOTS SO I GOT OUT MY BRUSH AND PAINT AND GAVE IT A MARLYNNE TOUCH)

FOR RIGHT NOW HE IS PERCHED BY THE BAIT BIRD HOUSE

ALSO GOT THIS NEAT HEART/CROSS WEATHERED YARD STAKE!  AFTER 3 OR 4 MORE THRIFT STORES WE HAD TO GO EAT AGAIN AT ANOTHER FAVORITE OF OURS "SWEET TOMATO" A FUN DAY!
