HEXAGON QUILT BLOCKS BECOME NOTEBOOK HOLDERS

I wanted to make something for my "New/Old Club" members. While browsing thru  magazine I come up with this!

and turned them into this!

Note Pad Holders

Three more to go!

Got my new Quilting Magazine today! Delightful as always!

My Nighttime read right now. I love the children Scholastic Books. I get them at the Thrift Stores!

My Beta Sigma Phi Chapter visited  the Headquarters in Kansas City, Mo. this week. We were given a very nice tour by our Mo. division chairman Cynthia Meadows.( in red top in the center)     I have been a member since March 1987 and hold the Masters degree.

Here we are with Laura Ross Wingfield now President of Beta Sigma Phi . (in yellow sweater on the right)

Maurice and I celebrated our 60th Engagement Anniversary Feb. 26th. This picture was right before we married in 1955.

Here I am at one of our favorite locations Barnes & Noble. I browse all the creative books and magazines.

And Maurice heads for the History and Religion Sections

Then after several hours at Barnes & Noble we go to another favorite place Sweet Tomatoes for a late lunch! Hope all is well in your world too!

  1. Dear Marlynne, I ♥ your life! If you lived next door, I'd beg one of those notebook covers from you - well, beg and buy, of course....

Gary & I are Barnes & Noble fans, too. I could spend hours there. Usually he gets a cold coffee drink and sometimes I get a pretzel. Sometimes we just drink a glass of water :)

I like the idea of reading the children's Scholastic books! I'm going to keep my eyes open at the thrift store next time I go.

Congratulations on the anniversary of your engagement! I remember our engagement date better than the day we were married! For one thing, it was on the first of the month (October 1) rather than the 4th or 5th of June (wedding date)....

    Blessings on Precious Cottage.
