WEEKEND FUN WITH SISTER JUDY!

We were so excited to hear about "Mom's Ole Stuff". It used to be close to  Red Bridge Road and now it's on Holmes in Belton. Just so much fun!  We bought lots!

They have been restoring their house as well as the cute shop

We also found this neat shop and helped them celebrate their 1st. Anniversary!

We thought this coffee table would be perfect for sister Judy's daughter Joy!

It has a really neat mosaic top!

I dearly love old boxes and vintage material, so had to have these!

We stopped at JoAnns Fabric in Belton for this black and white polka dot material. It will be used for the backing, binding and accent for my  "Funny Fowl" Quilt! And when ever the Fat Quarters are on sale I pick up a few more for my "Stash"!

We stopped at Salvation Army in Belton also and got sheets to make some fun napkins for my  upcoming Cottage Party.

Well here's part of my loot: A big red frame, darling little girls dress, wooden folk art man,  30 Neat old "Fan" Quilt blocks, little magnifying glass and blue glass plant waterer, which I just use for pretty in the garden

Next: a old cherry apron to go with my cherry dishes, a darling black kitten pot holder, yellow enamelware bowl, Darling Raggedy Ann and a yellow printed towel!

And lastly 2 red hankies, darling little boy and kitten print, a porcelain kitten and a darling book!  Such a fun weekend! I wish the same for everyone!

A REDO OF THE COTTAGE GARLAND & MORE

I took out the colorful Sari ribbon and left it neutral!  I like it much better!

Looking into the Bedroom area from the Entry/Dinning Area.

The crocus are blooming and the Jonquils almost!  I'm going out to weed the little garden as soon as I finish here!

My Secret Pal in club gave me this neat bird feeder for my belated Birthday Gift. We hung it right outside the kitchen window, so we're expecting quite a show soon!

I set the table  "Irish Style" for the Club Luncheon.

Sister Judy and I found these "Cherry" pottery kitchen ware at The Brass Amadello. They are so me!  Maurice & I are enjoying the new look!

Thursday night cards with new member (right  front). Hope your days include some fun time too! Blessings!

My Nighttime read right now. I love the children Scholastic Books. I get them at the Thrift Stores!

Here we are with Laura Ross Wingfield now President of Beta Sigma Phi . (in yellow sweater on the right)

Maurice and I celebrated our 60th Engagement Anniversary Feb. 26th. This picture was right before we married in 1955.

Here I am at one of our favorite locations Barnes & Noble. I browse all the creative books and magazines.

And Maurice heads for the History and Religion Sections

Then after several hours at Barnes & Noble we go to another favorite place Sweet Tomatoes for a late lunch! Hope all is well in your world too!
