CELEBRATING INDEPENDENCE DAY AND MAURICE'S 80TH AT ARROW ROCK, MO.

My newest little creation setting on the kitchen table for the holidays!

The seasonal shelf in the kitchen is ready for Independence day too!

I was so happy to see the new owners of our child raising home  at 121 W. 61st Terr in K.C..Mo. turned on the gas lights on the porch columns! The owners after us never did and that made me sad! We had bought those lamps one year for our anniversary and I always loved them and the house and the neighborhood too! But the Farm was calling Maurice!

I left these little handmade cards along the way on our trip usually with a little thank you note for their service along with a tip.

This is Bunny's Bed and Breakfast in Arrow Rock where we stayed.

We were so blessed to make friends with this group of childhood friends from St Louis area who were staying there too! They invited us to join them for dinner at The Tavern and ride with them to the play (Oliver) at the Lycium.!

Bunny fixed Biscuits and Gravy per the guys request and a yummy fruit bowl and coffeecake for the girls!!

Pictured in the center are:  Bunny's Husband and Bunny.

The Boardwalk  and Brick Streets are always fun!

Pretty Buckets of flowers even with the heat!

The Galvanized Buckets are so neat too!

I forgot to take a picture of the darling Lyceum Theater (Former Baptist Church) so took a picture of an advertisement!

Great Grandson Eli spent the day with us today, but the cartoons were calling him away from picture taking!

Maurice has a nest in the barn every year of barn swallows. He enjoys watching there comin and goin! So far no snakes!

I finished Susan's last book in here life series. Hated to have it end! Just loved it!!!

Another inspiring flight of stairs to paint! I love the tiles!!!

I have my beautiful Patriotic Wreath  that cousin Janell made me last year on the backdoor. now. Another picture I can't find!  I've got to copy all the gillions of pictures on my computer to some disks so it's easier to find the ones I want! Happy Holidays to you too! Blessings!
