MY RED CROSS QUILT IS COMIN ALONG!

The cross blocks are so fun to create!

I keep it out on the pool table and make some almost every day!

This was such a fun read! There are about 19 in the series( I don't know why not an even 20?)  I'm working on getting them all! Or at least reading them all!  Oh! I just found out there are 40 or more! Oh My!

Husband Maurice celebrated his 79th Birthday on June 12th. Here he is telling son Paul a funny story. One of his favorite things to do!

Spent several days up at the Cottage Garden Weeding-----

And getting rid of Poison Ivy!!

I decided to pick some of my herbs and put them on the kitchen table right on my place mat . So I hopefully remember to put some in my salads!

We have the house all patriotic! Inside and out!

Maurice finished staining the house. It looks so nice! The Day lilies  are really blooming well on the south side of the house too!

I shared this old picture on Fathers Day of my parents and me while visiting relatives in the country. Probably about 1940.

They were wonderful parents and were able to celebrate 52 years of marriage before Daddy died. I can't believe Maurice and I will celebrate out 60th Aug. 26th The Lord Willing!   Happy Independence Day Friends!

RELAXING AT ROURING RIVER STATE PARK

Husband Maurice's favorite activity, and favorite place to do it!

He really likes checking out the Hatcherys.  He couldn't get a good picture though!

I enjoy watching and listening to the water, and watching the fishermen too!

But, From my viewpoint while working on handwork!

Even though we don't camp any more we still go thru the campground and smell the wood smoke! So delightful!

We camp at the Lodges now! And I spend a great deal of time in the beautiful lobby!

I discovered such cute old former  gas filling stations  in Cassville this time!

Little pieces of history "Dolled Up"

I love finding small buildings and houses! Hope you can get away for a few relaxing days soon too!

RE- GRAVELED THE GARDEN PATH.

It was a backbreaking job! But it sure looks better!

Had to add some large rocks then to outline it! Ugh!

I finished just before the heavy rains!

The violas are loving this cool rainy weather!

The Pinks Too!

I made an Herb Garden in a pot. Sage, Parsley, Dill, Lemon Thyme and another one I've forgot!

"The Go Go Girls" had their monthly birthday outing to a strip mall in Independence, Health Food Store and Logan's Steak House for lunch. Julie, in the blue coat on the left is this month's Birthday Girl!

They had an interesting wall hanging made out of license plates!

Sue surprised us at Thursday Card Night with a Winner Hanging Trophy. Since I had won the week before I got to wear it for the evening!

But that was short lived as Sue won that night and got to wear it home till the next winner clams it! Fun Idea Sue! Thanks!

My cousins had a lunch together at  The Argosy. We don't gamble just eat and visit! They will coming down to our place in the country for the 4th of July.  We all got together as kids with our parents for all holidays, and our Daddy always brought the watermelons iced down in tubs for the 4th.  So of course we will have watermelon Cousin David front on the right will  be bringing it!  Hope you are enjoying your yards and families too!

GOLDEN YEARS MUSIC, SORORITY AND CHOIR.

Husband Maurice playing the Keyboard at Golden Years Health Care where we do the music once a month.

Two of the residents sang specials for us while Vicky Grey played for them.

Sister Judy and I years ago with our Precious Mother, who is now in Heaven.

Sorority tried out the new restaurant in town before our last meeting.

I fixed a surprise Birthday cake to celebrate our choir director Linda's Birthday after choir practice last week. Six of our members were gone that evening!
