FINALLY WARM ENOUGH!

I love the bright colors! Coleus and salvia  work well for me!

A good foundation!

A new addition this year. A Garage sale Find!

I really like my new banner too!

Spring and Summer Flowers!

Great
Great Grandson Eli discover the new pot of flowers!
I like to use old things among the flowers.

This old wood stove has been around 75 yrs at least! Was used for many many years by Uncle Earl  in the original farm house on this land. Then we used it the first year after we built. And it's been out in my garden for about 35 years!

Almost anything RED turns me on!  So of course I love this birdhouse!

I'm enjoying this new garden flag also!

I always enjoy my plants on the enclosed back porch too! So Cozy!

Saw this beautiful old church earlier this month while taking part in a Plein Air Art Festival in Augusta, Mo. It was in a little village called Femme Osage

Dressed up for the  Ladies Tea at the Baptist Church in Archie, Mo last Saturday

Maurice was dressed up too as he helped serve us! Hope you are also enjoying your warm days!  I again invite you to come visit my other blog too: wwwmcreatesdaily.blogspot.com  and Marlynne Snare Folk Artist on facebook.

Sister Judy and I enjoyed breakfast at Cracker Barrel "Siblings Day" Actually had an overnight too!

I bought us both a pair of these cute little polka birds as a remembrance.

Our little Sunday School Class Palm Sunday.

Our Archie, Mo. Beta Sigma Phi Chapters celebrating Founders Day.

BLUE BIRD OF HAPPINESS

Isn't this cute? This girl makes all kinds of shapes out of old quilt blocks and sells them for charities. There  was a robin, birdhouse, owl, and several others. I really liked them all ! She sprays them with starch so they hold there shape well.

I make a new pillow for my chair in the "Mamma Mia Room" in my garden each spring. I really liked this material. I think it will look good with my other blue things out there.

Great Grandson is back in Day Care now, so I'm really enjoying my quiet mornings!

Tasha is too!

Grand daughter and Great Grandson's plans to move to Utah got put on hold for awhile so we've been creating some. He loves to paint, color, draw and cut.\!

Special friend Rose Marie and I still make quilts for the Baptist Children's Home on Wednesdays at church.

Today Joy; one of the Day Care Teachers brought her class in to see the quilts. Their  letter for the day was "Q" She mentioned quilt as starting with "Q" and they didn't know what a quilt was. They called their bed coverings  blankets or comforters. So she decided this would be a good visual lesson for them.

Made another "Glam Camping" block for my studio wall  # 6. They are so fun to make and look at too!

The current "line-up"

Isn't this Crochet Thread Gorgeous? I plan to use it for decorating Journals, Prayer Flags and etc.

I'm living with my latest painting,"Glorious Spring" for awhile to see if I want to add or change anything before I   put it out there for sale.

Eli likes to try out our different shoes to see which goes with his outfit!  Happy Spring! I'm inviting you again to come visit my other blog too: www.mcreatesdaily.blogspot.com

SISTER JUDY'S DEVOTIONAL CORNER & THE COTTAGE RESIDENTS ARE MOVING

Judy is a master at creating something cute out of thrift store finds! She wanted a little out of the way place to read her Bible devotions and  novels. So this is what she came up with!

Judy's husband is disabled and requires close supervision so she has to be home most of the time! She has created a very inviting environment for both of them!  Pictured with her is Victoria;  their faithful companion!

I took Judy a pot of panseys and she surprised me with this precious little red child's chair. We both like most of the same things so this was a real sacrifice to give up!

Eli our precious"little man" and his mommie Jackie our granddaughter are moving to Utah next week. So Grandpa is doing a last measuring and weighing before he leaves.

Grandpa started his measuring on the door facings with our oldest grandson in 1985, measuring neices and nephews, and the rest of our 5 grand-kids and now great grandson Eli. He had to add another board a few years ago!

What a little man! We are sure going to miss them! But they need to get on with their life now and we do too!  I feeling weepy eyed these day!

Here's what it looks like outside the barn and cottage this Sat as they are sorting and repacking! I fear alot will go to Goodwill!

MY crocus popped up on the first day of Spring to brighten my day!

Been waiting for the violas and panseys to arrive at Walmart They were waiting for me yesterday! HAPPY DAY!
For some reason this picture decided to reappear. So HAPPY BEGINNINGS AND ENDINGS TO ALL OF YOU! I invite you to visit www.mcreatesdaily.blogspot.com  also

MY ART AND LIFE WITH ELI!

One of my latest paintings, "Grandma and her Cats" is a self portrait. It is displayed in the Harrisonville Library Atrium.

Sadly, "Hamlet" one of the younger cats died a couple of weeks ago. We all miss him!

Eli saw me using the dust mop so on his own he got in the broom closet and came up with his own mop!

Finally got my 2 sets of letters painted and nailed on a black board for the mailbox. I have that picture on my other blog: www.mcreatesdailyblogspot.com.

Eli loves to go with us and sing at  the local nursing home. The residents enjoy him too!

I found the letters for his name in the block box and painted them all orange so he would recognize them when trying to spell his name

Sometimes Eli goes to church with us and  he gets his hair "wetted" down and combed too!  All for now: Happy Spring!

I GOT MY RED BOOTS!

Part of my belated Christmas and Birthday gifts from my son and husband.  I prayed I'd make the right purchases today and I did! They are so comfortable I shopped in them all day!

59 years ago today on George Washington's Birthday a very ardent freshman from Jr. College in K. C., Mo. took a very much in love Paseo High School senior to Goldman's Jewelry at 10th or 11th & Main to pick out engagement and wedding rings.  And We're still Celebrating!

School time with great grandson Eli and Grandma.

He just loves to learn!  Such a precious little man!  Hope you'll visit my other blog too: www.mcreatesdaily.blogspot.com
